There's good flow at Vivian Creek Camp and High Creek Camp, but there are a lot of people, and it's better safe than sorry.<br /><br />The Sawyer Squeeze comes highly recommended. I'm torn as to really despising southern California because of all the disgusting people who think the world is a trash can, but I also can't believe all the rules we have. Having to get permits for hikes, backpacking, and campfires seems awfully intrusive. My friend lives in Utah and laughs when I tell him about all the red tape to enjoy the wilderness.<br /><br />When will the majority of San Gorgonio Wilderness be reopened? Based on my photos, they've re-prioritized the Vivian Creek Trail and have moved it up in the priority scale.
